Bendigo Bank Donates TV

A much-needed distraction for families in the waiting room of Ward 5F (Orthopaedics) at Ipswich Hospital has finally arrived, and it’s in the form of a television, kindly donated by Bendigo Bank.

The television has now taken pride of place in the waiting room for those family members who choose to wait for their loved ones to be released from recovery.

It’ll mean a world of difference to those anxiously waiting, giving them something to keep themselves occupied.

Bendigo Bank Ipswich Central Branch Manager, Michael Anderson said the television became available through the branch location change.

“A television is presumably welcome anywhere, but after speaking with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation about the television, it quickly had a new home at the local hospital.

“Being in hospital is never fun and I’m glad Bendigo Bank could help in some way to making it a little more comfortable

“I’m pleased that it could be repurposed in such a worthwhile and practical way,” he said.
