The Ipswich Hospital Foundation is set to celebrate a major milestone on Friday, 30 May 2025, with its highly anticipated Gala Dinner – a sold-out event bringing together community leaders, healthcare champions and generous supporters in a united show of support for mental health in our region.

Held at the Ipswich Civic Centre, the Gala will mark the official launch of the Foundation’s new name and brand, ushering in an exciting new chapter in the Foundation’s long history of supporting the local community. The rebrand reflects a bold vision for the future – one focused on impact, innovation and deeper connection with the people and places it serves.

All proceeds from the night will go directly towards vital mental health initiatives across the West Moreton region – a cause more urgent than ever, with 46 per cent of locals experiencing mental health challenges.

Ipswich Hospital Foundation CEO Scott Young said the Gala represents more than a fundraiser.

“This Gala is about hope, community, and creating real change. We’re not just unveiling a new brand – we’re making a statement about our future and how we’ll continue to support the health and wellbeing of our region in even more meaningful ways.

“Our inaugural Gala Dinner in 2023 was a sell-out event and focused on mental health research. We’re pleased to have sold-out again this year and I believe the result really demonstrates just how important mental health initiatives are to this region,” said Mr Young.

Guests will enjoy an inspiring evening of fine dining, heartfelt storytelling, and a powerful keynote address from Australia’s Forrest Gump, Tim Franklin. The event also features a thrilling live and silent auction, raffle prizes to be won and entertainment from crowd favourites, Bassline Studios Band.
