Today, we hold our inaugural Giving Day as part of our Children’s Christmas Appeal. All funds raised will support the resuscitation area in Ipswich Hospital’s Special Care Nursery. West Bremer Radio was broadcasting live from Ipswich Hospital to support and promote this great cause.

West Moreton Health executives, staff, doctors, nurses and our volunteers were involved in the Giving Day, including being interviewed by West Bremer Radio hosts. The Children’s Christmas Appeal has raised over $18,000 to date; however, more funds are needed to reach the target of $150,000.

Scott Young, CEO of IHF, said, “We have already received incredible support from the community, but we aim to raise as much as possible leading into the final days of the appeal before Christmas. We invite our community to donate, buy raffle tickets and participate in our Christmas gift-wrapping event at Riverlink Shopping Centre.

“Today represents the community’s last chance to purchase raffle tickets via our website to win some amazing prizes, including a Range Rover and gold bullion. The first prize is valued at $250,000”, said Mr. Young.
