Getting your kiddos confident in the kitchen has never been easier with Kids Kitchen!

Our hands-on cooking classes for 7-10-year-olds are the perfect recipe for teaching important life skills.

Cooking is important for Cognitive, Emotional and Physical Development

  • Confidence in decision-making & problem-solving
  • Boosting imagination and creativity
  • Nutritional knowledge and choices
  • Physical co-ordination like chopping, mixing, squeezing

And we’re here to help make this happen for your kids!

What’s so good about Kids Kitchen?

Kids Kitchen was an initiative launched a few years ago by the Hospital Foundation to get more kids more active in the kitchen in a fun, hands-on learning experience.

We’ve had so many little chefs through Kids Kitchen who are now super confident in the kitchen making healthy meals and snacks all by themselves. We even teach them to clean up after themselves too!

What can you expect?

We’ll focus on food tasting, core cooking skills, and plenty of nutrition education, in the good hands of our trained Nutritionist (and mum too!) who will be there to guide step by step.

Each class provides a fun interactive learning environment, building kids’ knowledge and confidence to make healthy food and lifestyle choices – they might even teach you a thing or two!

Plus, they get to make a meal all by themselves in every class.

Feedback from Parents whose children attended Kids Kitchen previously

Melissa: “It was a fantastic experience for them. It boosted their confidence in the kitchen and in turn increased their independence at home. She now cooks brekky for herself a couple of days a week and also loves to cook by herself on weekends too. They are both able to follow recipes and are much better with measurements. Well worth the time and the food they bring home for us to try is a bit of a bonus too!”

Sue: Looking forward to my younger children participating in future years. Loved it! The teachers are great. Supportive environment. Felt comfortable leaving her there. She enjoyed it and learned a lot. Fantastic value for money. Thank you so much!”

Lots of content will be available with classes beforehand, packed with recipe ideas and healthy tips for the whole family to enjoy.

All your kids need to do is to prepare to have fun and have a get your hands a bit messy kind of attitude!

There are limited spaces available so don’t miss out!
