Go Pink in October to support local research

Together, we can directly benefit our local community by funding local research to better post-operative breast cancer care.

We need your help to raise these important funds for the West Moreton Breast Cancer Research Project.

This research will be ground-breaking for not only the care of our local community but for millions of others around the world.

There are so many great ways you can get involved and raise some funds with us.

Make your fundraiser fun, inspiring, and impactful.

When planning your fundraiser, consider ways to make it unique to you, your interests, and your story.

Here are our top picks:

  • Wear Pink on Friday, October 23
  • Turn your business logo pink for the month
  • Start a Go Fund Me page
  • Host a morning tea/brunch
  • Shave your head or beard
  • Do a run or fitness challenge
  • Host a club event
  • Host a wine tasting
  • Get your work or school to participate

Tell your family, friends, and co-workers why you are passionate about supporting Breast Cancer Care and ask them to join in by donating.

It’s your personal message that will help others donate to the cause.

  • Tell your close friends personally – in person, over the phone or on zoom
  • Send a personal email or letter to family and relatives
  • Use social media, post photo or better yet, video content
  • Tag friends to challenge and thank them
  • Tell your networks, co-workers, and clubs
