Healthy Partnerships - Building a Healthier Community
The Ipswich Hospital Foundation throughout the year develops and nurtures healthy partnerships. BECOMING THE HEALTHIEST COMMUNITY IN AUSTRALIA requires the entire community working together.
State of Queensland- Queensland Health, Sports and Recreation; and Queensland Regional Events are partnering with the Foundation in the delivery of services; support for the Park2Park and the SNAP program.
Ipswich City Council- working closely together on such activities as the Sun Protection Program; Snap; Fit & Fuelled Kids; Fit Flicks; and the Health, Sports and Recreation Consuiltative Committee the community is becoming healthier. www.ipswich.qld.gov.au
Hospital Auxiliaries- The Foundation works closely with the hospital auxiliaries of Ipswich, Boonah, Laidley and Esk hospitals. The Foundation benefits from the support of the auxiliaries for their projects and a matching grant program has been established to support the hospitals with half the funds coming from the auxiliaries and half from the Foundation.
Local Gyms and personal trainers; Queensland Athletics League; Ipswich Athletics- work together to provide exercise and fitness opportunites for the community.
